Michael Johnson

Senior Pastor
It doesn’t get any better than experiencing God’s amazing grace and His plan for your life.

I have discovered that in Christ I always get “better than I deserve.” This is so true in the journey of life with my wife Alice and our four children, Tim, Cindy, Mark, and Matt.

I am a still recovering “sports-aholic” and have a passion to learn more about God. Can you believe it? The church actually pays me to study the Bible!

Associate Pastor
As the associate pastor, I have the great honor of overseeing our life groups and supporting and encouraging our amazing staff in their area of ministry. I also oversee the administrative needs for our church and I have the privilege of assisting with teaching and preaching God’s word. I love spending time with my beautiful wife of 21 years as well as playing with my crazy kids. I enjoy sports, surfing, music and being around vintage Porsches.

Matt Chapin

Youth Pastor
As the Youth Pastor my passion is to see students develop a faith that lasts. I have become fully convinced in my own life, that the narrow road, the Jesus way (John 14:6), is the best road for life, and my prayer is that students who are a part of our youth ministry will arrive at the same conclusion.

I enjoy coffee, sports, the beach, the mountains, music, and my family. My wife Sara and I have two kids, Hannah and Emma.

Marietta Sajdowitz

Childrens Director
I love to teach kids about God's Love for them. When we open up the Bible to study God's Word with a child, it's like opening a treasure box! God has so many riches inside those pages that he wants us to impart on our kids. We have an amazing team of volunteer teachers and helpers here at Grace HIlls who share the same passion, and I am blessed to serve with them.

I am also wife and mom in a busy homeschooling family. I enjoy reading cookbooks from cover to cover, cooking and baking, crafting, writing children's stories, and going on nature adventures like hiking and camping. It's most fun, of course, when I'm doing these things with my family - my husband Eric and our kids, Caedy and Brighton.

Life verse: Lamentations 3: 22-23 - "The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases, His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning; Great is Thy faithfulness."

Allegra Payne

Traditional Worship Director
My first love is nursing! I believe it is what I was born to do. God placed that desire in my heart when I was very young, and I have the joy and great privilege of helping families bring new life into the world as a Labor and Delivery nurse. Those that know me would tell you I love to laugh, and that I love to sing. In fact, I do a lot of both. I believe music and laughter unite people. One of my favorite things to hear is many voices singing melodies and harmonies, especially when it is in worship to the Lord. My hope is to lead God's people each Sunday in worship to our Lord through song. Just like at work, my desire is to help deliver a joyful noise!

Life verse: Proverbs 17:22- A merry heart does good like a medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bone.
